Pioneer Handy Services provides general handyman and home maintenance services that fall within the limits allowed by California law.

Contractor Licensing Disclosure

Pioneer Handy Services is not a licensed contractor under the laws of the state of California.

We operate strictly under California handyman exemptions, which currently limit:

Individual jobs to $500 or less, including labor and materials

No jobs that require a contractor’s license

Any work exceeding these limits will not be performed unless properly licensed or referred out.

No Structural or Regulated Work

We do not perform:

Structural work

Work requiring permits

Electrical, plumbing, or HVAC work requiring a license

Any trade work regulated by the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB)

Estimates and Pricing

Estimates are based on visible conditions and client-provided information

Additional issues discovered during work may require a revised estimate

All pricing complies with California handyman regulations

Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

Provide accurate information about the job

Ensure safe access to the work area

Obtain permission from property owners or landlords if applicable

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Pioneer Handy Services is not liable for indirect or consequential damages

Liability is limited to the amount paid for the service performed

Services are provided “as-is” without warranties unless otherwise stated in writing.
